Andrew Topus
President and Chief Executive Officer

Andy has held senior management positions in the food industry for more than 30 years, including key positions at Vienna Beef, Armour-Swift Eckrich, Jac Pac and ITC.  

  • Andy is a 1972 graduate of Cornell University having received a B.S. Degree in Food Science and Food Marketing.
  • President, Founder - Focus Marketing, Inc., a sales and consulting company in relationships with leading US food companies.
  • Serves on a number of meat processing and brokerage agency advisory boards. His relationships and experience with these processors have given him the foundation in management, product development, and manufacturing contributing to the leadership of SmartPrice.  
  • Founded SmartPrice in 2002.  SmartPrice is recognized as the largest supplier of custom designed food and pet products for the Extreme Value Retail channel.
  • In 2010, SmartPrice is recognized by Inc. Magazine for a second straight year and made #311 on the list of Inc. 500 Fastest Growing Companies and has again been recognized in 2011, 2012, 2013, and 2014.

Scott Schwartz
Principal

Scott is a food industry veteran with twenty years of experience in sales and marketing. He worked at Vienna Beef, IBP (now Tyson) and LaBrea Bakery, as well as technology companies ADP and Paylocity. As the co-author of Paylocity’s Alliance and Partner Strategy, he was instrumental in helping that company grow from 35 employees and 800 customers into a technology powerhouse with over 600 employees and 10,000 customers.

Scott is now focusing on strategic partnerships and product development at SmartPrice. He merges his extensive knowledge of food, sales, and marketing with proven problem solving ability to provide SmartPrice customers and vendor partners with creative, yet practical, business solutions. He attended The University of Iowa, and enjoys participating in community theater and serves on several non-profit boards.

Debbie Trauner
Operations Manager
 

Debbie Trauner has been with SmartPrice Sales & Marketing, Inc. since 2003.

 

She is currently serving as the Operations Manager for the rapidly growing business. She has been with Smartprice since start-up, helping to define and establish efficient procedures in all areas of the company. Debbie is actively involved in all day to day aspects of the business, including operations, accounting, IT, marketing, and customer service. She is responsible for setting operational standards that best serve our clients and providing support and guidance to the team, coordinating day-to-day procedures to ensure the smooth operation of an efficient team.

 

Prior to joining SmartPrice, Debbie has had extensive experience in the food service industry. She enjoyed many years at Vienna Beef serving as Office Manager, Branch Manager, Operations Manager and Director of Customer Service. She attended St. Petersburg College with a focus on business.

 

Cindy Kreppein
Logistics Coordinator

Cindy is an Administrative Assistant and Logistics Manager for the company with over more than 20 years of food industry experience.  
Prior to joining SmartPrice Sales, she spent 11 years with Orval Kent Food Company in customer service as well as the sales department as an 
Administrative Assistant and 4 years as the National Accounts Promotions and Pricing Coordinator.

Bill Feaster
Sales & Marketing

Bill has 30 years in the industry working with leading CPG companies including Revlon Beauty Care, Unilever, Drypers and Rostam in various sales & marketing roles. Bill has focused his energies during the past 13 years helping companies and entrepreneurs successfully commercialize their new products for US consumer markets
